Our founder and CEO is a retired Los Angeles Police Officer. He is one of the founding fathers of the second Bicycle Patrol Unit in the LAPD and was an LAPD certified bicycle patrol instructor. Now living in Klamath Falls, Oregon he is the commanding officer of the Klamath Falls Police Department's Reserve Division and still performs police duties as the department's leading bicycle officer. During his many years as a bike cop he has "tinkered" with various "gadgets" for the bike cop. Now two of those gadgets, the helmet earphone and the bicycle siren are manufactured locally and sold exclusively here on BikeTac.Com.
Our mission is to provide the best equipment for the best Cops--the bike cop--at a reasonable price.
