Our founder is a retired Los Angeles Police Officer. He is one of the founding fathers of the second Bicycle Patrol Unit in the LAPD and was an LAPD certified bicycle patrol instructor.  He also lived in Klamath Falls, Oregon where he was the commanding officer for the Klamath Falls Police Department (KFPD) Reserves Division and was the KFPD leading bicycle officer. Throughout his many years as a bike cop, he has "tinkered" with various "gadgets" for bike cops, such as the siren and helmet earphone. Now, he has officially retired and has passed BikeTac.com on to his daughter, Annie and son-in-law, Mel.  Mel and Annie have been involved with BikeTac.com since the beginning and have been BikeTac.com technicians and are excited to uphold all BikeTac products and services.   

Our mission is to provide the best equipment for the best bike cops and bicycle enthusiasts -- at a reasonable price.
